Minamo is a pure and romantic girl who can be quite clumsy at times, and she's in love with the handsome Satoru, a boy in her class. While working at her part-time job, Minamo spies Ryo and his girlfriend Mio as they eat together, their love for each other clearly visible in their eyes. She wishes she could sit like that with Satoru, but she knows she's too shy to ever come out and confess her feelings to him.

Soon after, Minamo is killed in an accident. Filled with remorse at not seizing her chance for love while she was alive, she visits Ryo and asks for his help. If he'll lend her his own life force, she'll be able to tell her feelings to Satoru. Ryo doesn't know until it's too late that lending Minamo his life energy will turn him into a lifeless spirit!

And so the wheels of fate turn, winding the destinies of everyone together: dead Minamo and her reluctant helper Ryo; the pure Mio and her carefree twin sister Mao; the competitive Kokoro, who won't give up Satoru without a fight; the lonely spirit Izumi; and the perplexing Soul Collector. What twists and turns await this cast of characters before the final act is played?

BEFORE YOU INSTALL: Make sure you have a disc mounting program. If you do not, my suggestion is "WinCDEmu" It is free, open source, and very easy to use. (/>
Step 1 - Mount "Figures of Happiness - CD1.mdf"
Step 2 - Click Install, and continue until it says "INSERT GAME DISC" (Take note of the directory youre installing it in)
Step 3 - Unmount CD1, and mount "Figures of Happiness - CD2.mdf"
Step 4 - Continue the installation.
Step 5 - Open "Crack.rar"
Step 6 - Head to the directory you installed it in (Normally found in: C:\Program Files\ANGELSMILE\SIAWAML)
Step 7 - Drag the file named "SIAWAML.EXE" from your "Crack.rar" folder, and place it in the directory above.

EXTRA - If you want the file on your desktop, post-installation, right-click the SIAWAML.exe and click "Create Shortcut" and drag the new file onto your desktop, taskbar, or start menu. It should have a tiny arrow on the bottom right of it.

1. General Information
----------------------
Figures of Happiness is a very long, complex game. And it could be split into two parts--pre-possession of Satoru's body, and post-possession. Prior to your possession of Satoru's body, you have to make certain choices that ensure you will be able to take over his body. Otherwise, the game will quickly move to the normal ending with Mio. In addition, you will need to make certain choices in order to open up the character paths. After you possess Satoru's body, you will need to make the "right" choices in order to go on some characters' paths. Minamo and Mio have multiple possible endings, and I will note them in the Detailed walkthrough section below.

In addition, for each character there is an ending that will lead to a credits roll in conjunction with the ending theme song. There are alternative endings where the credits won't appear. So for identification purposes, I will regard the endings with credits roll as the "True Ending" for that character, because there is only ONE such ending for each character (aside from Mio). Also, please note that in some instances, there is a post credits ending. Finally, Minamo has a special "In the Light" path that will be further discussed in the next section.

At various points in the next section, I will put a note "(Album:xxx)" to indicate the sex scene for the character.

This is the ONLY path that allows you to unlock Mio's third sex scene. Inaddition, there is a special post credits ending. And in my opinion, it's the best ending in the game for Mio.

This storyline is a test of the love between Mio and Ryo. Can Ryo trust Mio enough to tell her the truth about what happened? Can Mio accept what Ryo tells her?

C.3 Mio's Bad Ending

This takes you to Minamo's True Ending. The ending scene is very touching and romantic. But I honestly don't understand why Angel Smile would make this ending Minamo's True Ending.

This is the longest path in the game. And it's also very bittersweet.

D.3 Minamo In the Light Route (aka Minamo's Best Ending)

This is where Figures of Happiness turns weird and metaphysical. Minamo becomes a point of light, and lives inside you. And you will be asked three sets of questions, with three answers each. Here's how you MUST answer:

1) go with the flow of your heart and love

2) I want to pursue the girl I truly love forever

3) accept your fate

At this point, you will go back in time (or is it reincarnation?) and meet up with Minamo first, before hooking up with Mio. Your fate has changed. This is the best ending for Minamo, and it should have been her True Ending.

When you start a NEW GAME, you will be given two choices. The second choice will take you back to this In the Light path again. (And if you replay the game
from the very beginning again, the text messages at the beginning will make a whole lot of sense to you now.)

D.4 Minamo's Alternate Ending 2

After decision (v), the game will go on for a while with Izumi's storyline.
You get a better understanding of her background, and her feelings for you. Once you accept her feelings in decision (w), you will quickly proceed towards her ending, followed by credits roll, and an interesting post credits ending.

If you don't accept Izumi's feelings at decision (w), you basically go to analternate Mio ending.

Izumi's path is hard to unlock. While you have to act friendly towards her prior to possession of Satoru's body, I had a tough time figuring out how to meet up with her afterwards. It turns out that you need to reject Minamo as much as possible, post-possession, and then reject Mio as well at decision (v).

G. Kokoro's route

After decision (y), you will go to Kokoro's ending, followed by a credits roll, and then a post credits ending. The sex scene with her is very sweet.

Kokoro's path is by far the most challenging. While it's obvious that you have to favor her at decisions (h) and (k), the fact that you have to catch up with Narumi at decision (g) was a total curveball. But logically, it sort of makes sense in that Narumi and Kokoro are Minamo's friends, and you have to be nice to them along the way.
