Fantagraphics’ Eros division is one of the most prolific and varied publishers of adult comics. In 1993, they began to collect their “greatest hits” into a series of trade paperbacks under the moniker of “Eros Graphic Albums.” Each volume generally collects an entire original mini-series under a single cover.
First of the series was Gilbert (Love and Rockets) Hernandez’s Birdland, followed soon afterward by other erotic titles such as The Young Witches and 2 Hot Girls on a Hot Summer Night. A popular publishing venture, many of the volumes have gone into multiple printings.
